Keynote speaker at The National Life Sciences & Engineering Expo 2016

Mullingar Chamber of Commerce hosts The National Life Sciences & Engineering Expo in The Mullingar Park Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday 29th & 30th of June. A first for an Irish event, global leaders in Additive Manufacturing are represented and will be very significant in promoting the Irish AM opportunity. Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation will be keynote speaker at the event on Thursday 30th June at 9.30 a.m.
“This will be a truly unique occasion for Mullingar,” said Brigid Manley, President of Mullingar Chamber. “We will have industry leading speakers from EOS, ARCAM, Boston Scientific, CFK and Fertigungstechnik with the Irish perspective provided by IMR, SEAM, Athlone IT, and Schivo 3D. This is an unprecedented collection of speakers on Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing and not to be missed.”
The National Life Sciences and Engineering Expo will also include an exhibition area of leading companies in these fields and can be found on the event website www.industrialexpo.ie
Among the attendees will be representatives from multinationals such as Abbott, Bemis, Baxter, Boston Scientific, Cook Medical, Flextronics, Hewlett Packard and Intel. Enjoy networking at our post event BBQ on the 29th June in a friendly atmosphere amongst specialists in additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

This event is aimed at providing a forum for Irish companies to meet with the key decision makers of large multinational and indigenous companies. The initiative is being supported by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA and supported locally by VistaMed, TEG, EPC, ECOLAB, C&D Foods and SteriPack Group as key sponsors and local industrial participants.
