ActionZero, an Irish-owned climate technology company, has announced the establishment of its new manufacturing, research and  development centre in Tralee at the former Borg Warner facility. The company will continue to develop and expand its world leading EscoPod product range from this new facility, and is projecting sales growth of €50 million over the next two years.

ActionZero will manufacture its healthcare and enterprise EscoPod products at the site. The site will employ up to 50 high value engineering and manufacturing jobs locally. ActionZero has plans to invest €3 million in the company over the coming three years.

Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Michael McGrath was present for the official opening of the new facility in Tralee along with representatives from Enterprise Ireland, Kerry Region and Regional Initiatives and Brendan Griffin TD.

ActionZero recently announced agreements to roll out the EscoPod high temperature heat pump technology across a number of key clients including Kepak and Bon Secours Health System among others, with combined deal value in excess of €20 million.
