Cork-based CompuCal Calibration Solutions, a SaaS/AI company and specialist in software solutions for the management of calibration & maintenance, together with its UK-headquartered pharmaceutical monitoring services partner Pharmagraph, were honoured with a win for Best Practice and Innovation in Maintenance Management at the recent MEETA Asset Management Awards. The Awards programme, organised by Engineers Ireland, provides an outstanding opportunity to recognise excellence in the maintenance and management of physical assets through their life cycle and pay tribute to the notable contributions and achievements of individuals, teams and organisations in the profession of asset management.

The winning CompuCal and Pharmagraph submission showcased their joint large-scale integration project which delivered a digitised calibration solution across Pharmagraph’s four service locations in the UK and Ireland and to their 120-strong manufacturing client base (single and multi-sites world-wide). The project was supported by a cross-company project team bringing together the tech and expertise necessary to streamline the integration of a unified platform that now provides Pharmagraph clients with a comprehensive view of all assets under management. The software curates rich data sets, insights and analytics that help to improve overall cost efficiency and reliability of production output, quality and audit readiness, together with real-time business intelligence reporting in a paper-free environment.

Donal Sullivan, CEO of CompuCal Calibration Solutions, commented: “This is a momentous win for CompuCal and Pharmagraph. Thank you to the MEETA Award organisers, to the judges, sponsors and all of the finalists. This event was a showcase for exceptional innovation across the Irish engineering and asset management sector. To win in such a competitive category is a great honour and speaks to the strength of our technology and our excellent teamwork.”

Guy Turner, Commercial Director of Pharmagraph, concluded: “We are so proud of this team effort. We appreciate the support of our engineering peers and that of our amazing clients. We equally appreciate the opportunity that these Awards provide in allowing us to share how world-class calibration and monitoring innovation can boost operational sustainability, whilst delivering value and return on investment.”
