SuperValu creating 60 jobs for Kildare

imagesSuperValu has announced that it will be creating 60 new jobs with its new store in Kilcock, Co Kildare.
The €7 million, 12,000 square foot store will be located in The Square and will be operated by local retailers Steven Nally and Edward Casey.
The site that the new store will be situated was bought from Kildare County Council as part of a new rejuvenation programme for Kilcock.

Store owner Steven Nally said: “We are proud to be helping to boost the local Kildare economy with the creation of 60 new jobs. Together with our two other stores in the county, we now employ 170 people in Kildare.

The Musgrave group which owns SuperValu has also announced  a €2.2 million upgrade of its Ballymun store, located off St. Margaret’s Road.

The upgrade of the store will result in a 20% increase of the size of the store and is due to open in October.
